Vitaprotein is the brand name that Schaeffer Nutraceuticals chose for the line of world-class diet supplements that we produce from Nobel Prize-winning technology.

Under the Vitaprotein umbrella are individual products that focus on specific health needs — which we collectively call our Viproactive line. An example is Viproactive Cardio, the diet supplement we make to promote cardiovascular health.

The “vita” part of the Viaprotein name refers to the vitality you feel when using our products.

The “protein” part refers to our protein-based nutrient delivery system.

What makes our Vitaprotein diet supplements tower above the rest is how we get their nutrients to the cell locations where they create energy. The protein carrier we developed delivers them to the cells’ metabolism centers faster and more efficiently than other products.

Our protein-carrier technology is based on the basic-research discoveries of Dr. Günter Blobel in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. The German-born American won a Nobel Prize in Physiology for discovering that newly formed protein molecules have internal signals that direct them to the exact places in the body where they are needed.

Dr. Harald Guse of Germany borrowed from Dr. Blobel’s research to patent the protein-carrier technology that Schaeffer Nutraceuticals uses today.

We began producing our Vitaprotein brand with the technology after acquiring the patent in 2018.

Biologically modified active carrier protein with encoded amino acids of natural origin developed by Schaeffer Nutraceuticals for the next generation nutritional supplements formulation, promoting the optimal absorption of nutrients in the body.

Vitaprotein is a natural active nutritional ingredient which contains essential amino acids having an internal identifier (post coding effect), manufactured with a patented technological process based on foundation of over 20 years of scientific research knowledge and development studies.

Schaeffer Nutraceuticals research continuation has enabled the programming of a signal sequence in a manner in which all essential amino acids, vitamins, trace elements and minerals transported by Vitaprotein carrier are able to reach a specific part of the body and purposeful delivered into cells without dispersion.

For the first time in the world, thanks to this unique transport mechanism, we have been able to achieve such a high selectivity of the supplement’s effect based on natural processes occurring in the human body metabolic performances guaranteeing the essential cell’s health and longevity.
